Modernising Golf's Rules

Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.

Masters Tournament Sweepstake 

Following on from last week's newsletter, I have decide to change the format for the Masters Draw. When you buy a ticket (£5) we will ask you to pick one player from each category (4 category's broken down into best ranked - worst ranked players). 

All four players will need to make the halfway cut and the lowest aggregate score of all four players after four rounds will win. 

There will be prizes for the top five places.

Titleist Ball Fitting

On Tuesday, 28 March Titleist will be at the club between 9am - 1pm with two ball fitting experts using a Trackman launch monitor to find the best ball for your game.
