July Competition Trial 

Following discussions in the Captain's committee, we are going to trial a new competition structure throughout the month of July. Below are the details:

Tee Time Allocation 

1. Start sheet with 10 minute intervals held in Pro Shop
2. Player has to individually come in and pay £5 (Under no circumstances can anyone book tee times over the phone) 
3. Start time is allocated
4. Players expected to be flexible to make up three balls (Limiting 2 balls will help pace of play)
5. Four ball play permitted in Medal and Stableford competitions after 2pm

Competition and Prize breakdown for Medal Competitions 

1. Entry Fee £5 per player (£3 Sweep & £2 Two's sweep) 
2. 1 Division Only 
3. Top six places paid at the following percentages - 30, 23, 16, 13, 10 & 8 
4. Best Gross Voucher - £15 
5. Best Senior Voucher - £15
6. Four ball play permitted in competition after 2pm 
7. Club retain 25% of sweep money for competition fund - This money funds prizes for Summer Presentation Evening

Competition and Prize breakdown for Stableford Competitions

1. Entry Fee £5 per player (£3 Sweep & £2 Two's sweep) 
2. 1 Division Only 
3. Top seven places paid at the following percentages - 30, 20, 15, 12, 10, 8 & 5 
4. Best Senior Voucher - £15 
5. Four ball play in competition permitted after 2pm 
6. Club retain 25% of sweep money for competition fund - This money funds prizes for Summer Presentation Evening

We had a great turn out for the PING fitting day on Monday. The weather was fantastic and everyone who attended gained improvements in performance by having clubs fit to suit their swing.
