Callaway is one of the leading brands in the golf market and with their new technology it is an exciting range to add to the pro shop. With the news of Sergio Garcia signing with Callaway, alongside the likes of Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson, we can expect a lot from them this year.

We have just taken delivery of our custom fitting clubs from Callaway Golf.

All club testing and fitting is charged at £30 per hour but if product is purchased this cost is deducted. We use a Launch monitor to record all club data, this helps us to find the exact club match for your swing.

Competition Results

Last Saturday we held a Stableford competition, division one winner was Andy Stevens 39 points (Back 9) and runner up was John Dinsdale 39 points. In division two Mark Garrard scored 36 points and the runner up was Terry Lee with 35 points.

There were six two's recorded and each two paid out £9.00.

It's a new era

Our January poll captured the imagination of many of you as we asked you to consider whether Tiger Woods would make a triumphant return to the fairways in 2018. Here are the final results:

• 58% think Tiger will fail to win a tournament this year
• 33% believe the American will win a PGA Tour event
• 9% believe he’ll get one closer to Jack Nicklaus’ major victories record

As we head into February, keep an eye out for our new poll later this week. With lots of the major brands releasing new products over the coming weeks, we want to know which one you’d like to try the most. Of course, we will be receiving lots of exciting bits next month so be sure to pop your head into the shop next time you're at the club.
